The Toadies rocked hard. The openers... not so much. However, can someone explain to me why some people had to run to buy beer EVERY TWO SONGS?! Seriously, by the end of the show, you people were safety hazards going up and down the balcony!

Looking at my past jobs, it really makes me wonder why I'm not considering panhandling instead.

Egads. I've recently started reading some of Steve Ditko's Packages. I can't agree philosophically with him but the work is phenomenal. Give it a try if you're open minded or just want to see some gorgeous story telling via art. Warning, it can be very preachy and pedantic with his view.

Shall we assume that the reason there are two left hands in the last panel is a miracle or divine act or something? I'll use that as my bail out.

A couple buddies of mine are having an art show in Newark this Friday. Doors open at 6pm at 744 Broad St, the Sumei Arts Gallery (normal hours Tuesday-Thursdays 12-3pm). Here's a preview article from the Star Ledger. Drop by and see some great work by some great artists. It'll be up until July 25th.

Ahh... slept too much. Maybe that's why I was able to draw so much. But how can you be on my client list to commission me? Why it's as easy as emailing me at johnpaulgorgoroso at yahoo.com. Samples and art for sale will be posted soon...ish.

Dear Lord, I'm exhausted from MoCCA, carrying tons of new comics and drawing this for the past few hours. Good night, good luck, good soft beds!

Happy D-Day! Pull a pincer attack on someone who deserves it or something. Additionally, this weekend is MoCCA Art Fest. I'll be wandering around and so should you! Tons of fun and none of the annoying cosplayers who think anime should headline at a COMIC convention.

I'm greatly confused by this thing known as Drawing Day. A day celebrating artists and illustrators by making them do the thing they normally do anyway? o_O See for yourself here. It seems so arbitrary and artificial (because of all those natural occurring holidays).
